Persönliche Einführung
I love being around children and sharing new experiences with them; seeing them learn and laugh fills me with joy. I'm currently in Nepal, volunteering at a medical center. I provide assistance with health and hygiene, I also give talks and work at a local school for blind children and other isolated, underprivileged schools. I am very flexible and adaptable, as living in Nepal requires this ability. I grew up with au pairs for several years and therefore understand the qualities required for them to ensure the well-being of children and provide them with an enriching, fun, and safe stay, while respecting the parents' choices. I have been studying French for a few years and would like to improve my level; I am of french descent but have no connection to the culture from living in Australia, I would like to be able to reconnect with that. I've looked after children from 2 to 11 years old, and I loved them! We went swimming and played wild hide-and-seek with Nerf guns (I think it is the best version) I also have a lot of young cousins who always need keeping an eye on at family gatherings. They're always thrilled when my sister and I pretend to be Christmas elves. For the past year, I've been tutoring a student at my school who struggles with dyslexia. I help her with writing and homework. We get along really well; we both have bubbly personalities, and I'm always up for a chat but we have still gotten through heaps of work like writing english speeches and learning to tell the time on different clocks. I am passionate about the environment, conservation, and discovering the local flora and fauna. I have a driver's license, a surf lifesaving certificate and a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
