Persönliche Einführung
I was born and raised in Izmir, one of Turkey’s most open-minded and diverse cities, where I grew up valuing respect, equality, and inclusivity in everyday life.
I have hands-on experience caring for children of different ages, from newborns to young children. I cared for a baby from birth until the age of 5 months, taking responsibility for daily routines such as feeding, changing, soothing, and creating a calm and secure environment. From January to December 2025, I worked as a babysitter and play companion for a 4-year-old girl, supporting her daily routines, organizing age-appropriate and creative games, and helping her learn English naturally through play, songs, and everyday activities. I also cared for a 6-year-old boy with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) for two months, which strengthened my patience, emotional sensitivity, and ability to respond gently and attentively to children with special needs. Additionally, I have experience in elderly care, which has helped me become even more attentive and responsible.
I enjoy creating a safe, joyful, and nurturing environment where children feel understood and comfortable. I’m caring, patient, and always adapt to each child’s personality and needs.
I am currently studying Comparative Literature and love learning languages and discovering new cultures. I speak fluent English, have a German A2 certificate, and my French is at A2 level. In my free time, I enjoy music, walking, exploring new places, and creative activities. I also practice yoga, which helps me stay balanced, calm, and positive.
For me, being an au pair is not just childcare, but a cultural exchange and a chance to build a genuine bond with a host family. I would love to be a supportive, caring “big sister” and bring warmth, trust, and positive energy into your home.
