שלום, אני תמר מאוקראינה, אני לא יהודיה ואני מדברת קצת בעברית. בדרך כלל אני מדברת באנגלית. אני רוצה לראות את הארץ, לבקר את ירושלים, ללמוד את כל הדברים הטובים על הארץ. Dear, I'm Tamara, a Ukrainian national, 29 y.o., living in Belgium, trying to learn carpentry. My ideal family in case of au pair would be a Jewish practicing household or a Jewish senior lady. My ideal city would be Antwerp, Belgium, or any place in Israel, which would be even better, or an English-speaking country, such as Ireland, Canada or the US. I'm also trying to learn carpentry and save up for the future. You should host me if you want to share your culture with other people. I'm aspiring to speak multiple languages in the future. I speak and read basic Hebrew, but need practice. I can read Chumash very-very slowly, too many nikkudot overload me visually, but without them I'm afraid I don't know how to read. I have no formal training in childcare or elderly care. I have worked extensively in cleaning and as a barista for a few months, and can cook pretty well, as long as it is vegetarian. I have great experience with cats, too. When it comes to children, as a teenager, I tried art therapy volunteering for children, which is, I gave them art workshops. I have some understanding of children because of that and my cousins who are younger, but I'm not anywhere a professional nanny. Everything nutrition or behaviour, childcare, I need to research. This is also one important life skill that I want to learn. IMPORTANT! I'm also willing to go to Israel, for at least 3 months. Longer periods of stay can be arranged, for 1 or 2 years, but I will have to make sure you are a very reliable family. I wrote that religion is very important to me. I am very open-minded. I have been a die-hard atheist my whole life. Now I'm hoping to try and live with a practicing Jewish family. Secular or non-religious is absolutely okay with me, too. But I want to learn about Judaism. Are you not Jewish? Fine with me! I'm just prioritising English speaking countries, Israel, or a practicing Jewish household somewhere in Europe, preferably in Belgium. If this is none of the above, the income you would provide should be compelling enough. I have friends from all walks of life, different parts of the world, I'm very open minded, but also thoughtful. I hope we could be a good fit for each other, create good memories together, maybe keep in touch after. I am looking for a home share with an elderly lady or more seniors that need companionship&care, or an au-pair childcare job either in Belgium, or an English-speaking country, or Israel. It would be a first time for me. I do have cleaning, cooking, child rearing experience outside of it. Hoping I can help you with your daily needs, as well as companionship. I'm interested in languages, such as Hebrew, Japanese, Dutch and French. My main focus at this moment is to study carpentry during the day, and Hebrew in my free time. I have aspirations about what I want to do career-wise, and au-pair is a stepping stone on the way to achieve that goal. After I finish my au-pair or home share with an elderly person, I want to build up my skills as a carpenter, find a steady job in the field, build up my portfolio, continue my studies in carpentry, maybe start my own company one day. I also want to mingle with the Jewish community, because I want to learn more about Judaism. I also study that on my own. Those are some of the many things I want to do in life. I want to do a degree in a specific field of study, for which I'd need to save up some money. Carpentry is something I can do to support my studies, or it can become a full-fledged career for me, but I also see something even better than that, in tech. I think if I try really hard, this is achievable.
