Persönliche Einführung

Hi! My name is miriam, I’m 18 years old and I come from a small town in the province of Brescia, in northern Italy. I recently completed my studies in the social and health care field. During my school years, I had the opportunity to work with children aged 0 to 3, both in Italy and in Ireland, in nursery schools. It was a very valuable experience that confirmed my deep passion for working with children. I have also worked as a private babysitter for several families, taking care of children aged 2 to 8. These experiences taught me a lot about patience, creativity, and how important communication is with young kids. My dream is to become an au pair for two main reasons: to improve my English and to do what I love most — spending time with children. I have a basic level of English, but I’m eager to expand my vocabulary and language skills through full cultural immersion and daily interaction. I would also like to mention that I am celiac, so I follow a gluten-free diet. I am very careful and completely independent in managing my meals and dietary needs safely, so this won’t be an issue. I’m a cheerful, reliable, and responsible person, and I can’t wait to meet a lovely host family to share this amazing experience with!
