Persönliche Einführung

Hello, my name is Jemina, and I am a 19-year-old recent high school graduate. I want to become an Au Pair because I am looking for new experiences in my life, and I enjoy taking on new challenges. I also want to learn about different cultures and, of course, be a helping hand to parents while ensuring a safe environment for children to grow up in. As a person, I am very calm and do not go to bars or clubs. I have never in my life tried nicotine, alcohol, or drugs, and I never intend to try or use any of them. I get along excellently with children of all ages, and I enjoy coming up with educational yet fun activities such as crafts, light exercise, assembling puzzles, and drawing. I am responsible and meticulous in everything I do, and I never engage in anything that could pose a risk of harm. I don’t have previous experience as an Au Pair, but I have plenty of experience as a babysitter. I have taken care of children of all ages, and each one has taught me something valuable. Every child is unique and has their own personality. Every child deserves to have people around them who encourage them to make good choices and to be their authentic selves. Encouragement is especially important during challenging times, but setbacks happen to everyone, and it’s good to learn from an early age to be gentle with yourself and to embrace the skill of forgiveness. I would like to become an Au Pair abroad because I want to see the world, get to know new cultures, and learn new languages. Experiences are one of the greatest treasures you can have, and you can never have too many of them. I am often described as a unique personality. I am very gentle and patient, but at the same time, I am determined and know how to set clear boundaries that I stick to. I have never given in to peer pressure, nor have I ever given up on something I truly wanted. I have plenty of willpower and resilience, but just as much kindness and emotional intelligence. I am very athletic—I play golf and tennis and go running about five times a week. I also enjoy Pilates and yoga. My interests include studying, fashion, sports, crafts (especially sewing), mathematics, and technology. I find the most meaningful things in life are those that are not easy—I enjoy challenges. A good example of this is that my favorite subject in school was mathematics. After my time as an Au Pair, I plan to pursue a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management at a university. I am deeply fascinated by technology and technical fields.
