Persönliche Einführung

My name is Lourenço and I’m 18 years old. I’m a student in the field of Economics. Although I was born and have always lived in Portugal, my father is Canadian (so I have both Canadian and Portuguese nationality) and my mother is French. Growing up with influences from different cultures gave me a much richer and more complete personal development process, and that’s why I find the au pair programme so appealing — both to share my own culture and to learn about others. I’m a very dynamic person who loves sports (I played football for many years and currently go to the gym and run half-marathons), photography (I own a camera), music (I’m an amateur DJ), and cooking (I cook all kinds of food every day). I love building relationships with all kinds of people and am constantly eager to learn. My goal is to make the most of the part of the summer I have free before starting university by having an enriching and truly interesting experience. This won’t be my first time travelling alone, and as a responsible person, I feel comfortable going anywhere in the world and doing my best to benefit whoever kindly decides to host me.
