Persönliche Einführung
I want to become an au pair because it’s the perfect combination of everything I love: spending time with children, experiencing new cultures, and living as part of a local family. As part of my studies in elementary education, I am required to spend time in an English-speaking country – and I can’t imagine a better or more meaningful way to do that than by being an au pair.
During my solo trip to Canada, I stayed with local hosts and realized how much deeper and more authentic the experience is when you’re part of someone’s everyday life. You don’t just visit a place – you truly live it.
As a future primary school teacher, I also hope to learn more about how children grow up and learn in another country. I would love to get some insights into the education system, family routines, and cultural differences – and take those experiences home with me to enrich my future classroom.
Being an au pair gives me the opportunity to grow personally, improve my language skills, and become part of a new family for a while – all of which I’m incredibly excited about.
