Persönliche Einführung
I am an outgoing, friendly, and responsible person who loves meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. I enjoy being creative, whether it’s through writing, ceramics, or dance. I am also very organized, adaptable, and independent, which has helped me adjust to new environments, including moving to Sweden. Since I was 15 I have loved travelling alone and this passion has taken me to Germany, Italy, and Denmark on various exchange opportunities. I love working with people and making a positive impact, which is why I am excited about the opportunity to become an au pair.I am an outgoing, friendly, and responsible person who loves meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. Since I was 15 I have loved travelling alone and this passion has taken me to Germany, Italy, and Denmark on various exchange opportunities. I love working with people and making a positive impact, which is why I am excited about the opportunity to become an au pair. I have a lot of experience working with children in different capacities. As a former communications director with Big Brothers Big Sisters Canada, I completed Strong from the Start Trainings to develop my youth support skills. Big Brothers Big Sisters is a a 501 non-profit organization whose mission is to "create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth". This position allowed me to work one-on-one with the youth we support and allowed me to develop strategic programming and support to help inspire and motivate them. I have varied experience supporting children and youth with mental health and education through my work as a youth health ambassador with Saanich Peninsula Youth Clinic as well as an instructor with RNS Dance in Victoria, British Columbia. Additionally, I have babysitting and childcare experience. Most recently I have been babysitting for a Swedish family in my neighbourhood with children aged 18 months, 5 years, and 7 years. My experience has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to create a fun and safe environment for children and youth.
