Persönliche Einführung

Hi ! The idea of becoming an Au Pair has been somewhere in my mind for quite a while now. I'm very attracted to the irish culture. I've also always loved kids, I get very attached to them. The idea of staying with your family for several months and watch the kids grow fills me with joy. I'm a very happy person. I love meeting people, I love talking with people, I'm very social, as long as I also have my times alone when I need them. I am very active. I have lots of ideas and lots of projects. I love to go outside and walk, especially if I'm in a new environment. I look forward to go out and meet people on my free time. I love theater, I've written a play before, maybe if I have the occasion I'll join a theater class. Or maybe not, I'll see. I also play a lot of music. I've played the clarinet for, like, twelve or thirteen years. I play a bit of piano too, and also any instument I find. I'll also use my free time to stay in my room and chill and watch movies or shows. I've always been around younger kids (cousins or friends' kids), and I've always loved playing with them. I have some experience with kids. I'm used to be around and interact with children any age. I've been an counselor in summer camps this summer, I've been taking care of kids between 6 and 17 years old. I've also babysat a few times, especially for one kid a few years ago: it was a friend of mine's daughter and I visited them once a week for several weeks. I watched her for one or two hours. She was one and a half in the beginning, and then she was two (which makes sense). I've loved seeing her grow. I've also given a few clarinet classes to kids (age 8 to 13). I love kids, they make me laugh. I love having time to get to know them and watch them grow, I think it's wonderful. Being an Au Pair is an opportunity to do that in a country I love, to discover new people, new cultures, new things (while making a little bit of money). I'm open to go to a big city or the country side or somewhere in the middle. I want to go to Ireland. I've never been an Au Pair before, so the idea I have may not be entirely true to reality, but I look forward to meet you and have a chat about each other's expectation. I'm open to any family pattern, as long as we get along ! I'm thinking of a family with maybe two or three kids, but it can also be more, or just one, it is not very important to me. I'd like to take care of kids between 1 and 8 years old, but same, if one of them is older or younger it's no problem either. The most important thing to me is having good contact with your family. I can help them getting ready in the morning, take them to school (I have a driver's license since may 2024, I just don't know if it works in Ireland), and pick them up in the afternooon, and then stay with them, maybe help with homework, play with them and everything, and then help them getting ready to go to sleep. I'd be happy to help a bit with house work. Obviously, I also want some free time to rest and visit. Maybe have a job in the evening or study something if the kids go to school during the day. I am vegetarian. I would love to be in a vegetarian or vegan family, but it's fine if it's not the case.
