DEAR HOST FAMILY, Hello future host family! I am Snezha - the best au pair for your family:) I am 18 years old, and I have a lot of experience with kids. For children I can prepare some delicious meals. Especially, they like cakes, cookies, pancakes, and pizza. I am always ready to help kids with homework, teach them some poems, help them with numbers, and many other skills. It is not always easy, however, I am a patient person who help her younger brother at school and know how to approach in that situation. I would also occasionally pick up them from kindergarten or school. I HAVE MORE INFORMATION BELOW. MY PERSONALITY I am a patient and kind person who always ready to talk. I am also flexible, but if I am not comfortable with something I will discuss it, because I think that it is important for people to talk and find the solution together. Also, I am ready to hear from others if I need to do something in other way. I am mature person who always keep her words. I am an extrovert, creative, active and I am excited to meet new people. MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS I have siblings - a younger brother Artur (he is 13 now) and older sister Albina (she is 22 now). I live with my mother, her name is Olga, and brother, since my sister moved out a few years ago. Despite this, we are always in touch. Family values are strong in my family, so once a week we get together for brunch or dinner just to talk, share news and have a good time. We live in a small and cozy apartment in Vladivostok. It is a city in the east of Russia, located near the ocean. My mom is the manager of two shoe stores in the main shoe shopping center of the city. I don't have a boyfriend, but I have a close group of friends who are very supportive of me. We like to organize creative meetings or events, joint trips and self-development. WHAT I DO IN FREE TIME I am a hip-hop dancer, and I have been dancing since I was very young. Dance has never been just a body movement for me. It is a vehicle for the expression of my feelings. It is believed that I dance hip-hop, although I prefer not to divide the dance into certain styles, because every dancer moves according to feelings, and my feelings are my performance. I used to experiment with styles like vogue, locking, breakdance, etc., trying to apply new forms, techniques and structures. I would be happy to teach your children to dance if they want to. Physical activity, in general, is an important part of my life, so I like to walk, ride a bike, skate or just do workouts. I love exploring cities, even if I was born there, because it always feels like a little trip. My dream is to visit every country of our amazing world. I can spend my free time both with friends, family, and alone as well. When I spend time with my loved ones, we usually play board games, go to the cinema, walk, cook together or create art objects. I like to spend my time creating works of art in different forms. This can be drawing, dancing, photographing or recording short films. In addition, I like to practice English and improve my skills. Just talking in this language makes me excited. MY EDUCATION I'm graduating in June 2022. In July 2022, I will pass my last exams and officially graduate. In Russia, we do not have major concentrations or subjects. We study all subjects little by little. I plan to study abroad, but I will take a one-year break to work as an au pair. I have work experience. I worked in a cafe (as a cook's assistant, waiter and barista), in a shoe store and as an online English tutor. Currently, I continue to work as an English tutor, and also work as a coach at the Jewish Agency of Israel, where we focus on organizing and working with children and youth. MY EXPERIENCE WITH KIDS To begin with, I took care of my younger brother because my mother was at work most of the time, and so was my sister. I was the only one who coddled him. I stayed with him when he was 2 to 10 years old. Now he is 12 years old, and he is quite independent. I taught my brother to ride a bike and read. Together we like to paint pictures, walk, watch tv shows or movies together. I love him so much. In the summer of 2021, I lived with my aunt, who gave birth to my niece in April of this year. Her name is Diana, and she was a few months old at the time. Our apartment was renovated, so I have to live somewhere during this period of time. For 3 months I was babysitting my little niece. It was not the easiest task, since she was so small and needed her mother all the time, but I found a way to behave with her. For almost two years I was part of the Jewish Agency for Israel. Our main mission is to organize cultural events for children (from 5 to 16 years old) and adults. We hold various events throughout the year. For example, in the summer of 2021, we are holding 2 short-term events only for children and for the whole family. We create events, quests and workshops for people, and as a leader I conduct these events for participants. At the end of the summer of 2021, we launched, organized and created a whole program for the Rimon summer camp (I attached photos). We did the same in the winter of 2022. More than 120 children took part in this camp. I had a group of about 20 people under my leadership. We became very close to them. Youngsters really liked me, and they still text me from time to time. I have the ability to find this special connection with children, and sometimes it happens unconsciously. Nevertheless, spending time with children is always interesting and fun. We enjoy skating, cycling, playing with a ball, make crafts, and watch some interesting movies or cartoons. In addition, I went to Vietnam for 3 month to teach English by mysefl at the age of 17. I had three different classes with various age and Englsih level. It was volunteering work, which means I did not get any money for doing this. Still, it was unforgettable experince where I met a lot of amazing people. MY LANGUAGE SKILLS My native language is Russian. The second language is English, and my level is B2-C1. I passed the TOEFL exam and my score is 92. I have reached this level myself. I have a goal to study in the UK or USA, and that is why I had to improve my language skills. I have not lived in other countries, but I have traveled to China and Thailand and communicate with people in English. In addition, I have friends from Australia and the USA, so we often communicate, practicing my speaking skills.
