We are people who like to go to the beach regularly, spend time with friends and go to the movies. We sometimes bush walk and occasionally we like to go for lunch with the family.
We are a loving family of 4 with two boys, aged 3 and 4. Our house is on the headland of North Avoca, with sweeping views of the beach. There is a popular cafe at North Avoca and plenty of shops within walking distance at Terrigal and Avoca Beach. We are looking for an au pair who ideally has a first aid certificate and experience working with children. A drivers license is highly regarded. My husband and I are shift workers, so we need somebody to look after the children when we are both working. The days will vary, so we need somebody flexible. The shifts are 3 to 5 hours a day - 3 to 5 days a week with an evening shift 6 - 9pm once a week. (For a date night). 2 days a week, the children are in daycare. The right person will have there own room and bathroom. The room has a king sized bed with plenty of wardrobe space for hanging clothes and storing shoes. The role will involve minding the children, changing nappies, bathing, making meals for the children as well as some light household tasks such as laundry, vacuming and keeping kids rooms tidy. You will have meals, board, access to wifi, TV, and a car when it is available. The position starts in March 2017 for 3 - 6 months +
