We are a small bi-national family. I'm half Irish and the kids three-quarter Irish. We speak German and English at home. We are fun loving and very family oriented. I am a quality manager and work full-time in the village we live in. My younger son is in kindergarten, but the older one has started primary school. We're looking for a kind and caring young person to spend some quality time with the kids after daycare/school.
It would be your job to bring my younger son to kindergarten and collect him for lunch. He would go back in the afternoon. Seeing of my older son to school and being there when he comes home would also be part of the package. Supervising homework will probably take up the first part of the afternoon, but it is also important to me, that the kids get out of the house and have some fun. They are active in different sports club, training times are usually at times when I would be at home, but it could be your job to take them every now and again. A little housework can never go amiss, but would be restricted to folding laundry, emptying and loading the dishwasher, occasional hoovering and preparing lunch for the kids on weekdays. I might ask you for the odd night of babysitting for parent-teacher meetings and the likes. Your weekends would usually be off, but as an Au pair you are considered part of the family and are always welcome to join us on our adventures.
