Dear Au Pair, My wife used to do this Au PAir thing, and I don't know what company to trust, what I can say, what I should keep to myself. We've had 3 Au pairs over 10 years. . I'm uneasy posting this but here is my basic story. I am recently widowed (29 months, 11 days) and being 35 years old, a writer, widower, single father to a 10 year old beautiful and brilliant girl (we're both a little older than the photo) I 'm going through the busiest time of my career. I' ve been turning down all projects and offers over the past 29 months to stay at home with her - work, write, and despair, but I'm apparently a over protective and my constant attention was beginning to agitate my growing girl. IQ= 155 I finally took a project offer that turned out to be much more intense event than I could have predicted; a lot is happening very fast. This client will require me to spend large amounts of time on location and possibly multiple trips to Kawi. I will give more details when its necessary - I need someone by January 22nd.; My girl is very active and super smart - you will never be bored. I need her watch closely, there are some heavy emotions obviously and you would need to be capable of some more advanced care - in the heart department.
4-6 months; up to 12 months if available. Caring for a girl that's very brave but nursing unbelievable pain, she attends a special Montessori school for gifted children, after 4pm on different days she takes dance lessons, Skateboards, and Paints. She also sees a psychologist twice a week. She watches many many movies, likes listening to Vinyl LPs and I'll keep the rest to myself. :) My home is in a guarded cul-de-sac.. There are cameras in and out of the house, no cars are allowed on the streets without access through security, Security has 3 guards on duty 24/7 and provide 100% security. I don't do much outside of Exercise (sport) , working and caring for my pea tout and writing - I loved flying, I'm pilot and still own my sea plane but I cannot fly anymore of course.
