We are looking for a lovely au pair to replace our current au pair from September 2017. We are looking forward to welcoming a new au pair to our family. We have had two amazing au pairs in the past 18 months. Both have formed a strong bond with the boys and with me and Mike. As our boys are quite young we would like someone who can speak good English. Our previous au pairs have both been Italian but we are open to hosting an au pair from any EU jurisdiction. Our family consists of me, Mike, Elliott (4.5) and Connor (3). The boys are great fun and well-mannered (most of the time!). They both love being outdoors, reading/listening to stories, playing with Lego and building things and art and crafts. Connor loves singing - he sings "Let it Go" all the time and makes up his own songs too. Elliott is really curious about things and our au pairs have both taught the boys some Italian, about nature, space and the Romans! I work in a law firm recruiting, training and developing the lawyers and Mike is going to start retraining as a teacher soon. We live about 40 minutes from central London in a small town. There are lots of shops and bars, sports facilities, a language school and a lovely canal and great countryside near by. There are lots of other au pairs working locally and we will help you to meet them and build your network.
Taking the boys to and from nursery and school. Both boys will be there from 9-3 in term time so we need help in the morning with. breakfast, helping to get the boys dressed, making packed lunches and after school with dinner/bath or shower and bedtime routine. We may need a little more help in the school holidays. We have a cleaner so you will not be required to do big cleaning around the house but we would like you to tidy up after the boys and yourself and keep their rooms clean and tidy. Babysitting in the evening 1-2 nights is also helpful.
