We are the Merchant family. We live in the North East of England in a town called Tynemouth/North Shields right next to beach. We are only 12 miles away from the lively city centre of Newcastle upon tyne-which is about 20 minutes on the metro We are a close family and both parents are secondary teachers working full time. We have have 3 children - Olly aged 5 who attends a local primary school and identical twin girls Amelia and Clara who are aged 3 and attend the local nursery for afternoons only. We like the children to experience live and try new activities. They attend clubs and are very sociable.
We would like an Au pair to support us with the before and after school care of our three children. We would like them to prepare meals for the children. School uniforms would need to be washed and ironed ready for the children. light housework would also need to be done along with the family weekly shop. We would expect the care of our children to always come first - other request are second to the care of the children. We live in a three story house. The top floor has a shower room, double bedroom and a playroom. The successful applicant would have residence of the third floor as their own bedroom and bathroom. The family would still use the playroom and access a small study on this floor.
