We are a family of five - parents, two girls aged 4 and 2, and a baby boy aged 7 months. I have been a stay at home mum for the past 4 years and have decided its time to go back to work. My husband works shift work in an underground mine and I will be working admin on a local site. We love spending time together as a family going for drives, playing in the back yard, having BBQ's and keeping active. We are a little bit crazy but love to have fun.
We live in Moranbah, a small mining town in central Queensland. Moranbah is 2 hours drive from Mackay or Emerald, the closest major centres, or it's a direct 2 hour flight to Brisbane. The girls are in kindergarten and day care a few days a week and all the kids do extra curricular activities and swimming lessons.I would love a 'big sister' for my kids. We will provide your own room, a shared bathroom and toilet with the kids. You will have access to our home gym, computer/internet, and a vehicle when needed. You will need to care for the kids on a set rostered basis 1 - 4 days per week, so will you get lots of free time, but you may be required for more days/hours as required. It is expected that you will help with some housework but your main focus is to care for the kids, keep them entertained by going to park, library etc, and taking them to some of their scheduled activities/school. I am a big believer in routines for the kids but still have lots of fun and time together.
