We are looking for a friendly flexible young lady who likes kids and wants to learn english. Weeks are generally similar but flexibility is important. She should be at least 20 year old with a clean driving license as helping with the school run is an important part of our au pairs role. Car provided. Ideally French as we would like the children to practice their French. We hope for an independent individual who is welcome to join in with family activities but also who wants to be independent and develop their own social life outside of the family.
About 25-30 hours per week in total. Including daily school runs morning and evening. Preparation of children's tea on some days as needed and general support around the house. Including 4 hours cleaning, helping to tidy children's bedrooms etc and general support to keep the home tidy. We also expect 2 or 3 nights babysitting per week as needed and 3 or 4 weekends during the year looking after the children without parental support. One of our children has some special educational needs, including ADHD and dyslexia which can be challenging at times. Occasionally you would take the children out during holiday periods. We don't currently have a dog but are thinking about getting one. We live in a small provincial town about 30 minutes from oxford by bus and about 1 hour from London by train from the station in our town.
