I am a nurse who is due to move to the Ormiston area of Brisbane from the UK with twin boys age 5 and a 8 year old daughter . I will be looking at working shifts with a nursing agency approx 2 a week, shifts will be totally flexible so can work around someone who has other work. I can't guarentee hours but will suit someone who wants to gain extra childcare experience or wants hours on a casual basis. My shifts can be 7am-7.30pm, nights or a late shift 3pm-9pm, I will therefore either need before and after school or for someone to stay over and sleep until i get home in the morning to take to school. All children sleep well so will only be a sleeping duty if covering a night shift. I would prefer someone with childcare experience and a driver. We have had the same nanny in the UK for the past three years and she has become a much loved part of the family so would love to have the same relationship again. Live out Nanny/Aur pair only as i do not have the space to provide a bedroom full time.
Get children ready for school , cook evening meals. Take to local sports clubs, do school run. Collect from school, supervise play and help with homework. Light housework when children in bed, ironing, tidying up and preparing lunches for next day. Night shift will be to get children ready for bed, stay overnight and get children up ready for school. We will be looking to get a small/ medium sized dog so would need someone to help care for this when working.
