We are a family of four, Nótt is an executive for an inernational company and Sigurjón who works as a specialist for an investment bank. We have two young children, Ótta which has just turned 2 and Tími who is 10 months old. As we are expecting busy times in our jobs, we are looking for an au pair to assist us at home, and would like to invite her to become a part of our family during the stay. We live the center of Reykjavik in a three storey mansion with a private yard. We have lived in the area for about 15 years and like it very much, where everything is within a walkable distance. Ótta is our older (2 years), talkative, decisive and a fun character while the younger one (Tími) likes to smile, eat, crawl around and admire his older sister.
We have two kids, Tími 1yr who goes to daycare about 10min walk from our home and Ótta 2yr who goes to kindergarten next street. We would usually get them up and take them there in the mornings. You would get them in the afternoon, attend to them and give them light snacks in the afternoon We usually arrive home around 5 and we would all help each other fixing dinner and tidying up after dinner ( meals with them usually get a bit messy :) During the day you would help out keeping the home proper, laundry dishwasher etc - during the week the work hours would be around 6 hours per day and the weekends are off. You would have private bedroom and bathroom and a separate living room if you like.
