We are looking for an au pair to start as soon as possible*** Thank you for reading our application. We are looking for an independent, enthusiastic, fun, au pair who loves children to come and live with us. We are looking for someone who wants to learn English and our culture but is confident and happy to entertain themselves in the evening and maybe enjoy one evening a week having dinner with us. You will have your own double bedroom with lovely views of the countryside and your own bathroom. In the evening you will have access to your own TV room with a computer, internet and a television. We are a family of five, with 3 wonderful children Freddie 8,Matilda 6 and Cecily 7 months. They are well behaved and well mannered. We are looking for someone who enjoys spending time with children, who will help with all family tasks and have lots of fun with us as well. We are busy parents who are hard working but also like to enjoy life! You would need to like being in the country, walking dogs being outside and enjoying the quiet beautiful countryside. we are not too far from the local town but it is not a busy city! We live in the Welsh countryside, 3 miles from the local market town Abergavenny. There is a bus stop at the bottom of our drive or a bike can be provided. We can also provide a car if you are a competent driver.
General duties will include: - day to day care of 6 yr old girl and 8 year old boy. Some help with the baby. - Getting ready for school & breakfast - homework, cooking tea and eating with the children and bath time. - some cooking will be required - walking the dog and feeding chickens so liking animals is essential. - general light housework (washing, tidying bedrooms helping out with all household tasks) - driving is preferred but not essential. There will be access to a car. Because we live in the country there is a lot of driving, to school, children's clubs, shopping etc. - evenings will be free to spend as you please once the children are in bed at 7pm. Sometimes we are out for dinner and the children will need babysitting. You will have your own spacious double bedroom and unsuite bathroom with beautiful views of the Welsh countryside. - My husband and i will need our privacy in the evening. - There will be family holidays to Cornwall and trips to the beach which you will be included in. - the children will be on holiday in July and August so we will need someone who is happy to have busy days and lots of out door activities and day trips. We would like you to be part of the family whilst you stay with us
