We live on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, which for non-UK applicants is an English-speaking island just of the coast of Northern France. We both work fulltime in Marketing and Education respectively and are looking for and Au pair to join our family from August 2016 for a minimum of 12 months. We have three children, the two older children’s lives are as hectic as ours with ballet, athletics, gymnastics, swimming and every other afterschool activity and children’s parties to attend, so a driving licence and good organisational skills are essential. The youngest attends pre-school three mornings and so the role would involve two days of full time care for him and five afternoons of taking care of all three children after school hours.
We require someone to work 5 days per week with the weekends free, with the exception of babysitting by arrangement. It is quite difficult to describe a typical day but on the busiest days it would involve starting at 8 am, walking the children to school, entertaining our youngest and picking up the older children from school and then accommodating until 6 pm. On the days that the youngest is at pre-school the working day would not start until 10am
