Hi Au Pair! We are looking for the next Au Pair to join our busy, active family. There are four in our family including myself (Tanya), my husband Simon and our two boys Hugh (aged 10) and Fletcher (aged 8). We live in a great spacious house, in one of Melbourne's most lovely beachside locations, which is around 45 minutes from Melbourne CBD. Our lifestyle is very healthy, which includes healthy eating and lots of sport and outdoor activities. We also have a large dog named Bella, two cats named Harry and Missy plus two guinea pigs... they are all a much loved part of our family, so being comfortable with animals is pretty important in our household.
Our family lives in the lovely beach side town of Mount Eliza, on the Mornington Peninsula, just 45 minutes from Melbourne's CBD. We are looking for our next Au Pair to start with the family in July. Joining our family as an Au Pair would mean that you will be involved in helping keep the wheels of our family and household running whilst Mum and Dad are working. We have two lovely, bright, energetic, sport crazy boys who love nothing more than playing sport, building lego or reading their favourite books. They are both at school, in grades 3 and 4, and both have a variety of activities on at least two nights after school. The boys are good students and excel both at school and with sports. As mentioned we live in a lovely 5 bedroom home in Mount Eliza. This is a beachside town at the entrance to Victoria’s famous Mornington Peninsula. There are loads of nice towns, beaches and winery’s close by. We are about 45 minutes drive to Melbourne’s CBD and there is an easy train service. My husband Simon runs a landscape construction business and keeps fit and active by participated in Triathlons. I am a Marketing Manager for a firm and also run a healthy snackfood business called Funch. Our expectations for an Au Pair would be to help organise our household by looking after the boys before and after school as well as carry out general household duties during the week. Some of these tasks include: preparing school lunches, getting the to school on time, pick up from school, overseeing their homework, preparing some family meals, general housework including vacuuming, dusting and clothes washing, some grocery and family related shopping, as well as driving the kids as require to after-school activities and other activities. There is plenty of free time for you to catch up with friends and explore all the the surrounds has to offer, as the kids are at school every day and you are not generally required on the weekend. There will be occasional evening and weekend babysitting. You will have access to a car, your own room with wifi and tv, and we have a beautiful big pool. We are also about 4km from the beach.
