We are urgently looking for a lovely and reliable Au Pair / Mother's Help to join our family at our home in the beautiful city of Bath in the UK. We are a Finnish-Australian family with three gorgeous children; 1 and 5 year old daughters and a 4 year old son. Husband works away and we need extra hands in the house and when out and about exploring our reasonably new surrounds. We are a very easygoing family and flexible, and hope you are too, willing to help us where and when mostly needed. We would like you to join our family like a family member. Its important that you like children and are kind, patient, truly reliable and motivated. We hope you have some experience and confidence to take of care of little ones and doing daily housework, even if it is within your own family / home. Its great if you also have interest in food and cooking. We also expect you to speak some English and have right to live in the UK.
We would expect and appreciate help with our children and in every day basic house keeping. You are expected to help out at the meal times, bath time and in the mornings and/or bed time as agreed, helping children to get washed and changed, taking them out to play or playing, reading, drawing and doing other fun and creative activities together. We may also go for drives, to a park or to the city together, when extra hands and eyes are also very helpful. At home you are expected to help tidying up after meals, helping with laundry and folding clothes away, vacuuming or sweeping when needed, preparing some easy, healthy meals, keeping toys organised and in general helping us to keep our home nice, organised and tidy. School term time we need help especially on the busy weekday mornings getting children ready for the day, preparing and helping with breakfast, tidying up afterwards, and taking care of the little ones while the oldest one is taken to the school. Otherwise hours can easily be negotiated to suit both of us. Shifts may also be split for the morning and early evening allowing you to have time to yourself during the day. Weekends you would normally have off. We provide you with a lovely room in the house close to the city centre, main meals with the family, wifi and weekly pocket money. We hope you can start ASAP and would love to find someone who could stay with us longer term. If you would like to, you may be able to have some own time off during this summer.
