Hello, We are a young family with two girls, aged 5 and 6. We are looking for an au pair to join us for a few months in end of October/ early November (minimum 3 months). Our girls are happy, polite and kind girls who always make people welcome. We have had many au pairs and always enjoyed learning about new cultures and meeting new people. The girls enjoy very girls things - princesses and fairies and painting nails, but are also very active and do after school activities including ballet, gymnastics and soccer. They are both in school. We offer a very beautiful home and good conditions and are located close to the city centre with easy access to transport to travel. Only work 4days/ week on aveage and we offer $200 when they are in school and $250 /week when the kids are on school holidays.
The au pair is required to be available four days/week and look after the children, picking them up and taking them to school, driving them to activities after school, a little bit of housework (approx 1h/day) and just being good friends to the girls. The au pair must be able to drive and also cook easy meals for the kids. The au pair must also be affectionate and kind to the kids and also stern when necessary to make sure that the girls remember to be polite and respectful. We treat our au pairs as a member of the family, so it would be nice if they joined us for dinner in the evenings and weekends, however we also recognise young girls want to have fun with friends too, so we have no restrictions for that :) we also are accomodating to different food requirements and also apprciate someone who is willing to help a bit with the cooking.
