Hi potential Au Pair, We are a family of 3. I am the mother Sharr 25 years old, my partners name is Tom also 25 years old and daughters name is Lilah who just turned 3. I am a retail store manager at a shopping center close by. Tom is a qualified carpenter and Lilah is currently attending daycare but I am looking to get an Au Pair to help Lilah learn and grow on her own terms. She is a very active girl who loves a good challenge. Outdoors is her favourite. Painting, drawing, swimming, dance classes and playing at the park is things we like to do every week. We have a dog named Sprocky who is the most gently and loving dog. He is our other baby. Very low maintance and generally spends his time playing in the backyard. Au Pair must love animals. We are located in Beveridge. 42kms out of Melbourne City just off the Hume Freeway. Fortunately we live in an estate called Mandalay where we have access to a Gym, Pool, Golf Course and Cafe. The entry for the gym and pool are free but Golf Course is an extra fee. We live in a family community with numerous parks all nearby.
A typical day would be getting up to Lilah in the morning, feeding her breakfast then planning what to do throughout the day. She is easily entertained and open to new things so you could suggest almost anything and she would be involved. I am really wanting to focus on her concentration, speech, numbers, letters and days as this is something she has found herself interested in learning. You would feed her and yourself lunch and depending on what time she wakes up she may need an afternoon sleep. We are a very relaxed and easy going family that is after the same in return although routine is now a massive focus in our lives and we would appreciate an Au Pair with a structured routine when it comes to Lilah. Tom goes to work early most morning (Monday-Friday), depending where he is working sometimes 5am-7am and I am needing to be at work by 9am (Tuesday-Saturdays) so I would like to leave the house around 8am-8:15am. We are needing our Au Pair to care for Lilah Tuesday 8-5, Wednesday 8-6:30, Thursday 8-4 and Friday 8-4. These hours may slightly vary if Tom is home from work earlier. Also I would like an Au Pair to be open to working occasional Saturdays if possible. Tom has a daughter named Kiahra, he spends Wednesdays 2-6 and Saturdays 9-5 with fortnightly overnight stays with us on Friday nights. You will see her occasionally but not care for her so a relationship with her is also important to us as we want her to feel at home when she is with us.
