Hello, we are a French Chinese family living in Clapham London. We have a 2 years old daughter and a 3 months old baby boy. We are considering ourselves open minded people and we do respect individuals with different background as our own family is very mixed. There are three languages spoken within the house, French, Chinese and English. We also have two little dogs (Chihuahua). We are a big family, with us plus two kids, and our Chinese speaking parents and two dogs. Parents have been the main carer to our daughter but with the addition of our baby boy, we need helping hands with childcare and cooking. We are working full time so we would take care of the kids over the weekend.
We expect our au pair to have a basic level of english to be able to communicate with us. We are looking for a French (or Chinese) speaking au pair who we can trust. we have had au pair before but the experience wasn't very pleasant. As our au pair, we hope you love children, dogs and willing to join our mixed western and oriental cultured family and be part of it. My parents will take care of the baby boy so you will be mainly looking after our 2 years old daughter. our daughter is not going to school yet so you'll be working during the day and free during the evening. Main duties : - take our daughter to classes/activities during the day - cook dinner 2/3 times a week (may occasionally include week-ends) - walk doggies through out the week ( you need to be a dog lover) - help around the house if needed (would be rarely as we have a family cleaner comes on weekly bases) - You will have evening and weekend free unless we really need your help You will be speaking French to our children, English to us and Chinese if you are interested to learn.
