We are a family of 4. 2 young children a boy 15 months old and a girl 5 weeks old. During May we will both be back to work and we have explored numerous ideas and an au pair seems to be the best for our 2 children.
Minding the children will be the core task and the no 1 priority. the advantages are own large room. Full board with wifi access and no weekend work.Also if you drive you would have the use of a vehicle most if not all of the time as we have currently 2. The occasional night of babysitting (one night per month or 2 maximum) the only housework required would be the cooking for children during the day. As for your free time it's completely up to you what you do we live close to the sea and local amenities include shopping centres, cinemas pubs and numerous activities.
