Hi! We are a family composed of two adults and three children; our little daughter is four years old, the next is ten, and the oldest is eleven. With us only lives two, because one of them lives with her mother in Santiago de Compostela. We also have a small dog. We are teachers in secundary school. We like to spend our leisure hours in outdoors activities, like trekking, riding bikes... We also like cinema, theatre, reading and listening to music. We love travel, and go to the beach every time we can, since we have a lot of free time for it.
Your work as an au-pair in our house will be basically look after our children in their free time in order to talk with them in english, and an evening a week, usually Tuesday, to travel with the father to Santiago de Compostela for talk with our daughter who is ten years old. The timetable of our working week begins at eight in the morning. We often go to bed at half past eleven, although our children usually go to bed earlier, at ten o’clock. Our home is a large house. Our au-pair will have her own room. Although our house isn’t in a urban area, the public transport is usual and regular. Our au-pair will dispose of free mornings, from half past nine to fifteen. We hope to be able to agree on weekends. Our au-pair can to study languages in Vilagarcía de Arousa or in Santiago de Compostela, cities that are very close. We like a close contact and we think of ourselves as an open and outgoing family, and the au-pair can join us in our free time activities. We live in a house with a big garden, in a small village in the coast of Galicia, in the north of Spain. We are very close to the beach. In our day to day, we work in the mornings, and, in the evenings, we take our children to extracurricular activities and we look after them. Our children don’t have too much free time because they have to study and make the homeworks.
