Dear Au Pair, We are a very loving and fun filled family who enjoy lots of outings and meals together. Routine is quite strict for us during the week days but flexible during weekends and holidays. Both boys go to school full time , I am a software engineer and am currently working from home even though I am actively looking for a full time position. Husband is a Mathematician and works in the city.
During the week days you would be expected to drive children to school and pick them up. The school is 40 minutes drive so we need someone who is extremely comfortable with motorway driving. We will provide extra driving lessons if you think you need them. Car will be provided and also insurance with be paid. Mornings you will get children ready for school, feed them and drop them off. Afternoons you pick them up and give them dinner. You will also be expected to help out with homework and cooking if need be. Preferbly we would like someone who has a passion for cooking as we are always open to new recipes and it would be nice if you can cook a couple of times a week. Light housework is also expected when needed. We need someone who is flexible and willing to adjust around the family and be patient with the two boys. Advantage to the Aupair is that we are close to Central London (30 min by train) and 5 min walk to the station. You will be able to experience culture and improve on your English. The boys love being active. Love cinemas, play time and activities. We need someone who is comfortable with these. We don't have a TV in the house (but one will be provided for you in your bedroom) therefore it is very important that the children are occupied and kept stimulated with other activities.
