We are a French/Spanish family with two children. We lived for 12 years abroad (England and Dubai) and for us languages are very important. We are looking for a person who will enjoy spending time playing and speaking English to our children and being part of our family. We have two children: Noah is almost 9 and Elsa will be 5 in December. They are great kids with great hearts. Noah loves playing outside (riding his bike or his scooter, playing in the garden). Elsa is a princess who prefers playing with her dolls! They enjoy playing together and have a great imagination! We live in a house with quite a big garden in a small town of over 8000 inhabitants in the south west of France, between Dax and Bayonne. We are situated 15 minutes away from the beach. There is a station (a 15-20 minute-walk from our house) and there are local buses. There are some shops and a small cinema. We are about 35 minutes from Biarritz and 45 minutes from Spain. It is a very touristic area in the summer and a nice place to live. At home we speak French and Spanish but English has an important place as well which is why we are only looking for English native speakers
We are looking for a person who will enjoy spending time playing and speaking English to our children. Noah speaks English quite well as he spent his first four years and an half in an English environment and Elsa is starting – she understands a lot thanks to the Au Pair we’ve had this year. We would like someone who is flexible and can take initiatives. Your tasks will be to help sometimes with breakfast and getting the children ready to go to school. I’m a teacher and it will depend on my timetable. Playing actively with the kids after school will be your main task but you will also be expected to do some light cleaning to complete your hours daily. You will spend time with the children after school, helping with homework, playing with them and helping with shower and getting dinner ready. You will be working from Monday to Friday and will have most weekends free. We will ask you to babysit once a week: Friday or Saturday night. You will have your own bedroom.
