My husband and I are both native English speakers with international living experiences and among us we speak multiple languages. Our children have been learning Spanish and we would like someone who can re-inforce that with them. Alternatively, we would also consider a native Mandarin Chinese candidate with similar qualifications. All three children are under the age of 5, and you MUST be comfortable taking care of a child under the age of 1 (our youngest). The right candidate will be given plenty of free time and opportunities to explore the island, with half days and designated days off each week. There is also some flexibility if you have weekly commitments such as classes on island. I make my own work schedule so I can work mornings or afternoons. Our accommodation is modest and would not suit someone needing a lot of privacy or luxury. What we do have to offer is a loving family, well-behaved children, and willingness to share our culture and island with the right candidate. Initially, we are looking for someone to stay with us from 1-2 months, but would consider longer stays.
I am looking for someone (non-smoker) to help me with our three children in exchange for a small room in our house and meals. A university student or someone wanting to spend a long vacation on the island might be a good fit. Ideally, looking for someone with au pair experience and who speaks Spanish fluently. I am a work-at-home mom, and just need someone to take care of the children while I work in my home office about 20-25 hours a week and to help with some light housework (folding clothes, vacuuming, and dishes), picking up after the children, and possibly to watch the children for a date night once or twice a month.
