Michel, dad, is a manager for an engineering company and travels a lot. His work is a little complicated but if you want to know we can talk about that later. Merce, mom, is an English and French teacher for secondary or middle school. So you will have no problems communicating here. The kids Aran (8), Isona (5), and Guerau (2) are really fun and lovable. Aran and Isona do gymnastics and choir and all three really love doing any sort of arts and crafts. Aran is currently learning Piano as well. Our kids will definitely treat you like an older sister and have had 3 other Aupairs. Aran pretty much understands everything in English, but is still working on speaking. Isona and Guerau can understand English pretty well but neither really speak it. Especially Guerau because he doesn't speak much of anything right now.
We want our Aupair to really join our family and soak up our culture. We love to eat especially our different types of foods so we would hope our Aupair would be open minded and willing to try everything once. We also want our Aupair to prioritize our family when she is working and be mature and responsible. While basic knowledge Spanish would be ideal our only language requirement is English. We expect our Aupair to be available for her hours and respect our house. Your free time is your free time just remember that our home is a family home. Your hours would be 8 am to 9pm and 5pm to 9:30pm. Sometimes you will work all of these hours and sometimes a lot less because of the kids activities. Other than that your time and weekends is yours. Once in awhile we may go for a date night or something on the weekends but we will get you plenty of notice in advance.
