Dear au pair, We are living in the suburbs of Hamburg in Germany, where we both work as pilots. We therefore have very irregular working hours, and need help with the regular lives of our kids. We are looking for you to provide love and care for our kids when we are at work, and for you to help out in our house, so we also have time to show some love to our kids. The kids are going to day-care monday to friday from 0900-1430, our rosters vary per month and we will agree in the week that our rosters are published, when... ill be on duty in the next month. We would like to find an open, assertive, cheerful and responsible person, who doesn't mind the unexpected and who is there to give an extra little bit of joy to our children!
You primary role is to be part of our kids lives and provide love and care for them when needed. Occasionally you will have to take care of the kids from early morning (0300) or until late at night (0300). On very rare occasions you could have the kids form more than one day by yourself. You will work 25-30 hours a week, often less but sometimes more. We expect you to be open, honest and direct with us and we promise we will be the same. The will be some household work required, in order to free up some time for us, so we can have time with our kids as well.
