I am an active person, an engineer working full-time, and mother of two wonderful kids. I consider myself a very caring and loving mom who puts her children first. I love outdoors, playing with my kids, cooking, learning about nutrition, people, traveling and dancing. I am not matriculate around the house as I want to spare the precious time to spend with and enjoy my kids because I know they will grow up in no time and I want to savor their young years. My husband is also an engineer and a very fun dad. We focus on healthy eating and life-style habits. We live in a two level home in a nice large enough yard in a family friendly and safe neighborhood. Our kids adore each other and get along well. Our daughter is a very loving big sister and the little one who is almost 4 years old is a sweet and handsome boy. There is some fighting at times of course which is natural. We had an older nanny for 3 years but she is ready to retire. We would like to teach our children Turkish and have a loving and fun young person in the house to make things fun for them while we work. In summers we have a neighborhood pool kids love to go to and there are many parks, playgrounds, and libraries in the area we live. We are 50 minutes away from downtown Washington DC and have metro available. The elementary school Serra (daughter) goes to is in walking distance.
A loving, fun and caring caregiver to the kids while we work. I work for 8 hours and have to drive a half hour to and from work. We will need the au-pair to take care of all of our kids' needs while we are gone, including the preparation of breakfast and lunch if needed and then the clean-up in the kitchen. We would like some light house work such as emptying the dishwasher, running the washing machine and the dryer for laundry, folding and putting away kids laundry, tidying up the toys and play areas, helping the mom prepare dinner, to be done as well. we have a cleaning lady, so nobody needs to worry about cleaning. we would like au-pair to teach as well as play with the kids, establish a close and trusting relationship with them and help us teach them good behavior and values.
