Au Pair or nanny needed to help care for our baby boy and five year old girl. Previous experience with young children required. We would love someone who is fun and active. We are very sad that our current amazing nanny is heading back to Canada in July and are trying to find someone to fill her shoes. It's a full time role including school drop off, pick ups, travel to after school activities and homework for our daughter Imogene, as well as caring for our son Tennyson during the day. Tennyson is a very happy, smiley baby and easy-going. Imogene is a bit more demanding, she loves interaction, active play (lots of outdoors activities or swimming and girly stuff) and being silly/having fun. We would love someone who is able to be firm but calm and positive. Someone who has a generally happy and caring personality. We are an easy-going family but can get a bit busy with work (both anzak and fleur have demanding careers) but love our children, spending time with them and want the best for them. It's important to us to find someone who is supportive, encouraging and positive with our kids. There is a little bit of meal preparation for the kids required, and their laundry/dishes but we have a cleaner who comes weekly so it's only very light housework needed. We would like someone who has had a job caring for children before ideally as a nanny or in a pre-school environment so you know that you enjoy being a nanny.
The job is assisting us getting the kids ready in the morning, dropping Imogene at school 3x days a week, sole charge of Tennyson during the day and then pick up of Imogene after school. Preparing healthy meals for Tennyson, the occasional family meal (maybe one night a week), laundry and tidying related to the kids. A little bit of homework practice with Imogene and taking her to ballet class. Doing fun activities with the kids.
