We are a kind and friendly family, searching for a sweet, mature and hard working au pair/housekeeper. Thomas (39) works from a home office and travels a bit and Jeanette (34) works as a nurse, but is on maternity leave. Bastian of almost 3 is a calm and loving little boy and his little sister is expected to be born beginning of June. We have a medium size dog, always happy and looking for a cuddle, who loves long walks. We live in a very nice area of Hellerup, just outside Copenhagen, close to the sea and nature. We have a large house and can offer a totally renovated and light apartment of your own in the bottom floor of the house. This has a living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen and your own entrance. We are looking for a smiling and independent au pair or housekeeper/nanny, who will be a part of our family, but live her independent life with free time activities hobbies, friends of her own. Evenings and meals can sometimes be spent together, others separately. Ideally we are looking for a Danish speaking girl in order to ease the communication with Bastian, but we are also keen on offering a danish language course.
The job is approx. 30 hours per week and consists of multitasking in the house:-) We need help with babysitting, cleaning, tidying, washing, ironing, shopping, dog walking and sometimes cooking. On a typical day we would probably need an extra set of hands with the kids in the morning, getting ready for kindergarten, then house hold chores, maybe a dog walk or shopping in the afternoon as well as some help with babysitting or cooking in the afternoon/evening. There would be lots of free time in between at your disposal. On average the work consists of more house work than babysitting as we (like most families) have chosen to have an au pair, because we want to spend more time with our children. We will pay a good wage and want to make sure you are happy and satisfied and in return we expect you to be honest, hard working and take very good care of our beloved children:-)
