Die Arbeit des Aupairs
We prefer you to have have some kind of experience of caring for children and of course that you like children. You will become a very important person in their lives and because of that, we want to have a person who cares for our children's feelings and personalities, who listens to them and who is thoughtful. Your ability to catch their interest and make them evolve in a positive way is a big part of your job. Obviously, you must enjoy the company of younger children: tenderness, respect, humour and inventiveness are important qualities. You must be a ‘self-starter person’ with a positive sense and who have some experience of taking care of a house for the daily routines ….. with a smile ! We have a cleaning lady, but some cleaning in the kitchen, the children's rooms and play room (with their help), the living room and clear up after the children is expected.
You are responsible for the planning of your time together, propose games to play and other activities. Your tasks consist of making the children feel good : leave and fetch them at school. Give them their bath, cook and see to that they eat. We would appreciate if you can and like to cook, because we are no adepts of ‘fast food’ :-) but prefer home cooked meals.
