We are a young family with soon 2 little girls who currently live close to Stuttgart. I, Manuel, am 31, my wife Sylvi is 32 and Thea is 1 year old and Ella will be born in November. While I work for a bigger German bank in Stuttgart my wife will stay at home at least until the end of 2014. As a family we try to do as much outdoor activities as possible. We cycle, go skiing, hiking, swimming and a lot more. Every 4-8 weeks we visit friends in Zürich, Switzerland, where I used to live until 2012. For holidays we travel normally within Europe, mostly to Austria, Switzerland, France and Italy.
We are looking for a female au pair aged between 18 and 25 years with a strong command of English (ideally native speaker) and the willingness to learn a bit of German. You must be eligable to work in the EU (EU citizenship or similar). As the au pair you maily support Sylvi with the kids. Thea will go to the kindergarten not before Feb 2015. She is sweet but super demanding and will be your major challenge. We do not expect you to do a lot of housework, only minor things. You will have your own room and enough spare time. A driving licence can be helpful but is not a requirement. From Stuttgart we have 3 airports close by. A Ryanair hub in Karlsruhe and Stuttgart and Frankfurt. Travelling back home for a long weekend or so should never be a problem.
