Dear Au Pair. First of all we would like to introduce ourselves. We are a catalan family living in a small village next to Barcelona (40 minutes by train). We live in a nice house with a nice garden in a quite village with several nice bars, craft and sculpture school ( there are a lot foreign people on it). We have a free nice bedroom with a very big window with a nice sightseeing views of Montseny mountain. In our village there are as well nice forest to walk, running, playing bicycle, and in summer a very nice swimming pool very next of our house. It's a place to a girl that it likes quite place and as well like to visit Barcelona, and another big villages as Granollers, Sitges,....and so on. In spring and summer we go to Calella de Palafrugell, one of the best villages in Costa Brava with a swimming pool and the beach next to our flat. We have 2 children, Oriol boy of 6 years old and Maria, a girl of 4 years old. Our objective with a English Au Pair is learn English as a native language for our children. We had during 1 year another Au pair that they came back at her home, and now we want to follow this project with our children; playing, singing, reading books, speaking, taking a bath, and share with us theirs lives.
Our idea is after school stay with them and during the morning you have free time after you leaves their things ready, because all of us go every morning to Barcelona. In the weekend stay with them several hours with them and one day per week have a free time day. I love to cook and I think you will be very warm in our family. In this village there are young people and I think that you will stay very comfortable in our house with us. To learn Spanish there is a Spanish school and as well catalan school ( our language in Catalonia). Well, we would like to speak with you if you think we are a family for you. See you soon.
