Dear Au pair, We are a small family of 3 people. We do work full time and our daughter Orane (3.5) is at kindergarten and next year will start school. So far we live in large apartment on two floors, soon moving into a house with small garden. We have two cats and some fish. We live at the country side between Lausanne & Yverdon. We like to spent calm evenings during the week, but weekends are often opposite - this is the time for skiing, swimming, hiking and visiting friends or having dinner with them at our place. We look for somebody starting January. The shortest time period would be till mid-July, of course it you would like to it is possible to stay for the next coming school year with us. Since we live in the country side you will have to drive a car (that you could be also driving in your free time). We would like to ask you to take care of Orane 3 days a week, plus some hours 2 other days if necessary. WE WILL ASK YOU TO SPEAK TO HER POLISH. Weekends are free. We would like to ask easy house work. No cleaning of the place, but taking care of the dishwasher, food for cats and similar things. Your duty will be also to keep order in Orane’s room and the playing space - she knows and she does try it herself but with her 3,5 she needs help and encouragement.
We are seeking for a personality filled with tenderness, responsibility and will to help. As said before experience with child taking care is an advantage, therefore a very young person might not be our first choice. The sex of the person does not matter. Somebody that likes new experiences and is adult enough to deal with childcare and staying abroad in completely new environment. Car driving license is a must. We would appreciate somebody with communication skills, sense of organization and humor of course! The person should take care of our daughter during our working hours 3 days a week, feed cats and fish. No need for large cleaning but small house duties might happen from time to time.
