We are a friendly and easygoing family living in Cihangir, Istanbul, one of the most vibrant and international neighborhoods in the city. We are looking for a French-speaking au pair to spend time with our 4-year-old daughter and become part of our daily family life. Our main goal is for our daughter to hear and use French naturally through everyday activities like playing, reading books, singing songs, going outside, and simple conversations. We are not looking for formal lessons or strict teaching. We would love to find someone who speaks French fluently or as a native language and genuinely enjoys being around young children, ideally has some experience with children or au pair work. We are a small family living in Cihangir, Istanbul with our sweet 4-year-old daughter, two dogs, and two cats. So our home is usually quite lively and full of energy. I am an aeronautical engineer and my husband is a commercial pilot. We both love meeting people from different cultures and would really love for our daughter to grow up hearing French naturally in everyday life, through play, conversation, books, and little daily moments.
What we offer: -A private room, meals included, -Flexible schedule with plenty of free time, -The chance to experience daily life in Istanbul, while living in the center! We live in an apartment in Cihangir with an amazing view of the old town. You will be in walking distance to metro, tram, buses and sea transports. The neighberhood is lively and very close to art, history, culture scene of the city. We expect au pair to spend 3 hours a day to spend with our daughter during weekdays, after 16:00. Au pair takes one day off during the week. And during the weekend, we expect au pair to 6 hours o spend with our daughter. We offer 600 euros monthly for this arrangement (24 hours/weekly).
