Dear Au pair girl, we are a friendly, easy going family living in Berlin and are looking for a new long-term au pair to join us. We already have long-term au pair experience -our last au pair stayed with us for three years, and it worked extremely well. You would mainly take care of the two girls (3 and 9). Both girls understand and speak English, so communication comes very naturally, although it is important that you understand some basic german, because it would be required in some situations. What is important to us is a loving but consistent approach. We are looking for someone who is warm and caring, but also clear, structured and reliable in daily routines and rules. Consistency in everyday life and in dealing with the children is very important to us.
Your main responsibilities would include: - bringing the children to kindergarten and school in the mornings - picking them up in the afternoons - accompanying them to leisure activities - spending quality time with them in the afternoon and evenings We highly value creative and meaningful activities with the children, such as - movement and physical activities - spending time outdoors, e.g. at the playground - arts and crafts - playing together - supporting the children´s development
