Dear future au pair, We are very happy that you’re interested in our family! We are Samuel, Julius, and Elisa – a lively, adventurous, and warm-hearted family with two cheerful children aged 3 and 7. Our family is bilingual – dad is German, mom was Finnish, and our children have been raised with both German and Finnish from birth. We live in Dreieich, a beautiful town with excellent connections to Frankfurt – quiet and green, yet close to everything you need and just a short trip from the city. Our children attend kindergarten and primary school, both with afternoon care. Our free time is full of variety: The children love swimming, gymnastics, football, and everything that involves movement, play, and creative exploration. We enjoy being outdoors and love trips, nature, playgrounds, books, and shared laughter. This past summer, we were struck by a terrible loss: The children’s mother passed away suddenly in an accident. Since then, I have been raising them as a single father. That’s why it’s very important to me that my children continue to hear, speak, and learn Finnish – as a living connection to their mother and their Finnish family. We are now looking for a Finnish-speaking au pair who would like to become a part of our everyday life. Dear future au pair, We are looking for a warm-hearted, reliable, and cheerful person who: - Speaks Finnish with the children - Enjoys spending active, quality time with them - Supports us in everyday life – for example with childcare, small household tasks, and typical family routines - Ideally, you would also be able to accompany them to their hobbies and activities, such as swimming lessons or Finnish school – and you’re very welcome to use our car for this.
