Hello! My name is Jess and I am a mom to Scottie and Jade. My husband Scott, the boys, his mom Meg and I moved to Fremont a month ago from South Carolina. Scott and I moved to California to help ensure a beautiful, rich in culture and diversity life for our boys. We are currently living in Fremont, California which is a suburb of San Francisco/ San Jose. It is one of the most alive and exciting places in America. Fremont is a hub for Asian & Hispanic culture and extremely diverse. We live in a beautiful home in a neighborhood surrounded by parks. Our home is also close to many stores and restaurants with plenty of things to do. There are dozens of language schools in the area so you would have your pick. There is a ton of public transportation, buses and trains that go straight into the city. It is truly an exciting place to be.
In our home is myself, Scott, Scottie Michael, Jade and my mother in law Meg. We also have three dogs: Maggie Mae, Buxton and Nashville. Scottie Michael is 4 and is an extremely smart and energetic child. He likes to play make believe with his toys, cooking, dress up , art and crafts. He also loves going for walks, adventures and to the many local playgrounds. Scottie goes to school everyday from 1140-3. Scott and I will be responsible for getting him to and from school. Jade is 3 and just as high energy and creative. He loves to snuggle, read books, play, create art and discover the outside world. He is home with us all day and really needs more attention. Scott and I work from home while Scott also goes into the office three days a week. We moved here for Scott’s new job in Electric Vehicle charging. When we are not working we love to be outside, go to parks, go on walks/hikes, kayak and camping. I love thrifting and designing new spaces with thrifted items. Meg suffered a stroke in 2013 and is limited in her mobility. She has been helping us with the children but it has proved to be a lot physically on her. We need help during the work day and a few times during the week in the evenings. Since I work from home it is difficult for me to focus on tasks while the kids are home and not engaged. They need someone who is excited to play and learn with them. We want someone who is happy to read books, do art, cook, play outside, walk to parks and keep them safe and happy. We can discuss hours but in general we would need help in the morning until I get off work around 3 and then sometimes in the evenings. We would want your full focus to be on the boys and helping them to develop into great, responsible and happy people. We practice gentle and conscious parenting as much as possible so we would need someone aligned with that methodology of parenting. In our home we have a room for our Aupair that is directly next to a bathroom that would be shared with the boys. There are double sinks and plenty of space. The room will have a full bed with dresser and nightstand and anything else the Aupair would need. It has a nice organized closet and a window looking out to the front of the house. The house has a beautiful landscaped front and back yard with plenty of relaxing space including two fire pits. Our home has two living spaces, the den and the living room a big eat in kitchen and dinning room. We are surrounded by two separate parks with miles and miles of trails.
