We are a middle aged couple with a 3 week old and a 2 year old. We are looking for help for our children. We am both work from home office, in tech and real estate. We are looking for help while we work, date nights, to drive our children to different activities, care for and educate them. We loosely follow Montessori education guides, do not allow screen time, only on special occasions, and focus on books, hand made toys, lots of outdoor activity. We are a multilingual family: both parents of Hungarian nationality, while we speak Hungarian at home, we would like our children to be exposed to and learn different languages. Myself , Mom, am from Romania, and moved to the States 22 years ago. I speak Hungarian, Romanian, German, English and Spanish. Dad is from Hungary and moved to the States 35 years ago, speaks Hungarian and English and studies Spanish. We are a very active family, we enjoy outdoor activities, and our biggest passion is traveling. We live in Westport, CT, and hour outside of New York City. The area offers lots of opportunities for nature lovers: beaches, hiking trails, farms, etc. The town offers lots of community events: concerts, street fairs, holiday events, you name it.
Care for our 2 children, drive children to different activities, light housework, light cooking, laundry for the children. We live in an area that is car dependent, so the perfect au pair must be comfortable driving.
