We are a family of 4. I 'm Cristina 50, I'm engineer and I have a good English Level, my husband is Javier 50 he is system administrator (informatic), and we have 2 kids: The little one, Ana will be 13 years old in April and Alex is 15 since March. We are an open minded, active, and happy family, we enjoy the weekend going outside and travelling around, you can join us if you want , and take the opportunity to travel around and learn about our culture. We do love animals, we have a dog (Rough collie) and she loves walking in the mountains as much as we do. Kids take care of her needs we will not ask you anything but enjoy you time here with all of us. We live in a little town (22.000 people) called Valls 16km far away from Tarragona, a Roman city next to the sea, near to Port Aventura (Salou) so in 20 minutes with car we are in the beach. We are well connected 1h far from Barcelona, 20 minutes from Barcelona-Reus airport and 5 minutes from high speed train station (2,5h far from Madrid). In the village there are buses each 30 minutes - 1 h to the Tarragona center. Our kids are fun, well manner and very energetic. They help us a lot at home. Alex is very clever, sensitive and responsible, he is the technological one. Ana is very active, creative and smart. She is the artist, sporty one. We are looking for an au pair willing to speak English and practice German some hours a day with our two kids and practice Spanish with all of us. Alex started this year the Dual High School in his school with a USA college and it's the third year he studies German as foreign language instead of English. Ana started with German learning in the school this year. We want our children to practice English and German living with a young person from another country so they learn, not only the language, also the culture and traditions of your country at the same time we show you ours.
Your responsibilities will be: - Take care of child and spend good times with them. - Have your room tidy and cleaned and check the kid clean up their own mess every day. - Preparing breakfast and meals every day together with kids for you three. Sometimes we share it. - The house should be well maintained as we leaved it. The aim to contact a foreign person is that the person we chose help our children with the German learning and practise English with them.
