This will be our first time hosting an au pair but it seems like the best option for our little family. However, I myself was minded by au pairs growing up so I first hand experience. I am aware it will be difficult having someone moving into our home and also how difficult it will be for you but we will want to make you feel as comfortable and we are looking for someone to become a part of our family. We are a family of 4 consisting of myself, my partner and our 2 children, Isaac (2) and Aria (1). Both kids attend daycare one day a week on a Thursday but otherwise they are at home. Our kids are very energetic and active so they need someone who can keep up with them :) My partner works on a week on week off basis so every second week it will just be myself and the kids. The week my partner is home the working hours will be less. We like to do family outtings and be outdoors and would love to show you around our hometown. We are approx 40 mins North of the city but it is easily accessible without driving as there is public transport close by. You will have your own private bedroom and we only use our spare bathroom for guests or to bath the kids. We have a separate enclosed theatre which you will be welcome to use to have some down time. WiFi is included as is Netflix.
Your main job will be to look after the children which will require taking sole responsibility approx 40 hours one week and 20 hours the following week. You must have flexibility with hours as I am a shift worker but I have ability to request certain shifts so this is negotiable. We would like you to tidy after the kids as you go and after yourself and also sometimes to cook.
