My name is Aaron (Irish) and my partners name is Claire (English). We are parents to our little monkey Aidan who was 2 last May, we are also expecting our second baby in January 2019. I am a Project Manager on large engineering projects in London whilst Claire is a PA to two directors at an insurance firm in Wimbledon. We are both pretty easy going people with quite a relaxed atmosphere in our home. We enjoy sitting down together in the evening, eating dinner and watching tv together after the working day. On the weekends we bring Aidan to the park, swimming etc. We are looking for an aupair to become part of our family, we would like someone who like us, are pretty relaxed and easy to get along with. Clean and tidy is a must. Ideally prefer a nonsmoker but not a deal breaker.
We are looking for an aupair to look after Aidan until January. (with the possibility of staying longer when the baby comes to help out while on maternity) this is not essential and can be discussed. Aupair would be required look after Aidan all day Monday to Wednesday 8am to 6pm. (We are happy for him to be taken to play groups, parks etc and of course would cover all costs). Thursday and Friday he attends Nursery, Claire drops him off and picks him up but this is something we may ask to be done from time to time if we were stuck or had something on (but not all the time). We would ask that they spend 3 hours a week cleaning on either the Thursday or Friday. (The aupair would be expected to keep the house reasonably tidy during the mon to wed). In summary: Looking after AJ from monday to wednesday 8-6. Cleaning for 3 hours thursday or friday. We may request a night babysitting or a nursery pick up / drop off from time to time to allow claire and I to have date night or if we have work commitments. We cook dinner every evening and have a relatively good balanced healthy diet so of course you will eat with us. We do a weekly food shop which we have delivered, we are happy to cook for the aupair or they are free to assist if it is somethijg the enjoy doing. We live near East Croydon so we have very good links into Central London in about 20minutes. Language schools would be very easy to find if this is something you would like to do. There are also lots of bars and cafes locally that may suit if you wanted to take on any additional work or just simply to socialise.
