We are interested EXCLUSIVELY in NATIVE English speaker, please DO NOT apply if you are not. We are a loving Russian/Italian (30/52) Family, married for 6 years now, with a sassy 4-year-old daughter who is being raised trilingual (hence, our exclusive native English speaker request). We live in the city centre, in a private condominium with security and our home is a villa has a garden and small pool. You will have your own room and bathroom. We seek a family member, not an employee! Our city, Naples is a wonderful experience: it counts 2.5 million inhabitants, it is one of the 4 oldest cities in the world that have been continuously inhabited since their foundation and there are lots of things to do and visit: from catacombs to archaeological excavations (Pompeii), three castles and three royal palaces (including the world’s largest and most beautiful) and amazing churches. Naples also boasts stunning surroundings: the islands of Ischia, Capri and Procida (only 30 min by ferry) and a breathtaking coastline: Positano and the Amalfi coast (less than an hour by bus). Rome is one hour by train (24€) and flights to most European capitals cost less than 40€. Naples is also very lively with lots of night life because it is a university city: bars, restaurants and venues are everywhere and inexpensive. The food is amazing: pasta, pizza, mozzarella and many other dishes were invented in Naples so be ready to gain weight! :) Country of origin is NOT important as long as you are a native English speaker without accent. We interviewed girls from Germany, Sweden, South Africa who had absolutely no accent and a perfect command of the language.
Responsibilities: 1. Safety and wellbeing of our daughter. 2. Develop her English language skills. 3. Help with light housework. Schedule: 4.5 hours/day (3pm - 7:30pm). 1 day/week off. Pocket money: 300€/month We are very flexible with your time/say off, as long as we plan it. We have a cleaning lady once a week that takes care of the house but we still expect you to share light house work with us, just as you would do if you were living with your uncle and aunt. No more, no less. We had exceptionallly good experiences with 6 previous Au-Pairs who are all happy to talk to you. We related to each other as family (uncle/aunt/niece) which created a very jovial and fun atmosphere. We look forward to explain details and answer questions by video call on WhatsApp or Skype.
