British family in the beautiful French speaking Vaudois region of Switzerland looking for an au-pair to help look after 2 children. We would like someone who will stay with us for the school year i.e. August 2018 to early July 2019. Our daughter love gym and netball and likes to ski and skate in the winter and she also playes the piano. Our son is football mad but also enjoys board games and chess as well as skiing. Both children are bi-lingual English/French and are learing German. We need our au-pair to be able to communicate in either English or French
The children are fairly sefl-suffient in terms of washing and dressing etc so the main task for our au-pair are preparing meals and driving the children to after school activities. It's a manual car so you must have a manual licence with experience. Laundry for children only. Most weeks you'll only have to work 3 days this is before/after school so you'll have time to take a language course and to explore the beautiful region. You will not be required to work more that one weekend every quarter - any others would be by separate negotiation and for additional pay. You will get at least 5 weeks paid holiday over the course of the year.
